BackgroundThe municipalities of Nalut ,Al Qalaa and Dhaher Al Jabal face severe challenges in securing safe and reliable water supply for their populations (26780,18,000 and 22,800 respectively). The municipalities suffer from deteriorating infrastructure, including non-functional water storage reservoirs, outdated transmission lines, and nonexistence of proper resources and infrastructure maps or master plans.
