The Republic of South Africa has received financing from the World Bank towards the cost of the Technical Assistance Project for Carbon Capture and Storage in the Republic of South Africa, and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for “ eddy covariance sampler for monitoring and measurement of CO2,H2O, Methane sample For this contract, the Borrower shall process the payments using the Direct Payment disbursement method, as defined in the World Bank’s Disbursement Guidelines for Investment Project Financing.

The Council for Geoscience (CGS) now invites potential services providers to provide quotations eddy covariance sampler for monitoring and measurement of CO2,H2O, Methane sample. The required services are listed in the table below.

Additional requirements

Bidding will be conducted through the National competitive procurement using a Request for Quotation (RFQ) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers – November 2020” (“Procurement Regulations”), and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.
