Description

With funding from Japan, UNOPS will respond to the needs of communities in Kharkiv by strengthening the resilience of the health system and population through:

  • Repair of the Kharkiv City Hospital basement to enable the safe shelter of 270 hospital staff and patients during air raids;
  • Procuring and delivery quality medical equipment and supplies to the Kharkiv City Hospital to support its catchment area of Kharkiv City’s 1.3 million population; and
  • Ensuring the provision of life-saving face-to-face Explosive Ordnance Risk Education (EORE) to 14,400 of vulnerable civilians (direct beneficiaries) in Kharkiv oblast.
