- The Government of the United Republic of Tanzania has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Tanzania Food Systems Resilience Program (TFSRP) and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of Seed Processing Treatment Plant and Seed Dryer plants at Bambi Unguja.
- The Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation, Natural Resources and Livestock (MAINRL) Zanzibar now invites sealed Bids from eligible National Bidders for Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of Seed Processing and Treatment Plant and Seed Dryer at Bambi Unguja as the follow:

Bidders wishing to offer discounts in case they are awarded more than one lots will be allowed to do so, provided those discounts are included in the Letter of Bid.• Bidding will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding procedures as specified in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Procurement of Goods, Works and Non-Consulting Services under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits & Grants by World Bank Borrowers Fifth Edition of September 2023 (“Procurement Guidelines”), and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the Procurement Guidelines. In addition, please refer to paragraphs 1.6 and 1.7 setting forth the World Bank’s policy on conflict of interest.• Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation, Natural Resources and Livestock, Project Coordinator, Tanzania Food Systems Resilience Program (TFSRP) ASSP Building, Procurement Management Unit Office Maruhubi Street, P.O. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be opened promptly thereafter in the presence of the bidders designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend in person at Conference Room No.2 Zanzibar, 2:00 pm after the deadline for bid submission• All bids must be accompanied by a bid security in the form of Banker’s Cheque or Bank Guarantee. The amount of bid security shall be per lot applied for as per below table or its equivalent in a freely convertible currency in the either of the forms and instructions provided in the ITB 19.3 (d) of the tender document. |
