SUPPLY, INSTALLATION AND COMMISSIONING OF

SERVERS, PERIPHERALS AND ACCESSORIES

• 2.      The Government of Southern Sudan has received a Grant from the MultiDonor Trust Fund (MDTF) through the International Development Association (IDA) (hereinafter called "Grant") toward the cost of the Capacity Building, Institutional and Human Resource Development Project.  The Grant Recipient intends to apply a portion of the funds to eligible payments under the contract for which this Invitation for Bids is issued.

• The Ministry of Labour, Public Services and Human Resource Development now invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for the Supply, Installation and Commissioning of Servers, Peripherals and Accessories.

• 5.      Bidding will be conducted through the International Competitive Bidding (ICB)   procedures specified in the World Bank's Guidelines: Procurement under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits 2004 edition; revised 2006 and are open to all bidders from Eligible Source Countries as defined in the Guidelines.

• (including specifications) by visiting the Government of Southern Sudan (GoSS) Website: www.goss.org (under "Tenders")  starting 5th  February 2010. Alternatively, a complete set of Bidding Documents in English Language may also be requested by interested bidders on the submission of an email to [email protected] and [email protected]. The Bidding Documents will be sent as an email attachment in PDF format.

• Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from the Ministry of Labour, Public Services and Human Resource Development # Head office # Juba at the address given below or by e-mail address given below starting 0900 hrs to 1700hrs local time, from Monday to Friday exclusive of public holidays.

• 9.      Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 2:00 pm East Africa Time (GMT+3) on 22nd March 2010.  Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected.  Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders' representatives,who choose to attend in person at the first physical address (for submission of bids) below at 2.00 pm East African Time (GMT+3) on 22nd March 2010.
