GENERAL PROCUREMENT NOTICE

Project: Sierra Leone Connectivity and Agricultural Marketing Infrastructure Project (SL-CAMIP)

Project ID No. P178683

The Government of Sierra Leone has applied for financing in the amount of Seventy-Four Million United States Dollars (US$ 74,000,000.00) equivalent from the World Bank toward the cost of the Sierra Leone Connectivity and Agricultural Marketing Infrastructure Project, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds to payments for goods, works, non-consulting services and consulting services to be procured under this project.

The project will include the following components

  • Component 1: Resilient Urban Transport
  • Component 2: Rural Bridges and Roads
  • Component 3: Agriculture Market Infrastructure
  • Component 4: Project Management Support
  • Component 5: Contingent Emergency Response Component

Key procurement activities includes Construction of four climate-resilient long-span bridges (Sumbuya, Komrabai, Masalolo & Kabba) and their link road, develop resilient agricultural market infrastructure within the catchment areas of the four climate resilient bridges, Construction design and upgrade of the market infrastructure, Procurement of Fifty (50) Buses for Ministry of Transport and Aviation, Procurement & Installation of Maintenance Equipment for Bus Depot, Technical Assistance for Development of a National Transport Sector Strategy and Investment Plan.

Procurement of contracts financed by the World Bank will be conducted through the procedures as specified in the World Bank’s Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers and is open to all eligible firms and individuals as defined in the Procurement Regulations.

Specific procurement notices for contracts subject to open International Competitive Procurement will be announced, as they become available, in UN Development Business online, on the World Bank’s external website and/or name of newspaper of national circulation in the Borrower’s country.
