The Government of Mauritius has received financing from the World Bank for the Rodrigues Airport Project, which has been co-financed by the European Union, and intends to apply part of the proceeds for consulting services.

AML is thus, inviting Consultants/Service Providers to express their interest to submit proposal for an Airfield Construction Specialist.

The Airfield Construction Specialist (ACS) in the Project Implementation Unit (PIU) will report to the Project Manager (PM) of the PIU. The ACS will support the overall preparation, management and implementation of investment activities under Component 1. These tasks will be carried out in coordination with the Project Compliance Unit (PCU – under the PIU) and the Project Manager (PM); ensuring that the works under Component 1 are implemented effectively, and in a timely manner in accordance with the implementation plan.

The ACS will be responsible for day-to-day contract management of PTU_1, closely monitoring the construction supervision engineer team that has been appointed by Airport of Rodrigues (ARL).

Airports of Mauritius Co. Ltd (AML) now invites eligible Individual Consultants (“Consultants”) to indicate their interest in providing the Services. Interested Individuals should provide information demonstrating that they have the required qualifications and relevant experience to perform the Services.

A Consultant will be selected in accordance with the Selection of Individual Consultants method set out in the Procurement Regulations.
