Assignment Title: Consultancy services – Tourism Specialist

The Government of Mauritius has received financing from the World Bank for the Rodrigues Airport Project, which has been co-financed by the European Union, and intends to apply part of the proceeds for consulting services.

AML is thus, inviting Consultants/Service Providers to express their interest to submit proposal for a Tourism Specialist

The objective of the Tourism Specialist’s position is to:

• Lead and manage the implementation of the different activities falling under Component 4: “Supporting the sustainable development of the Tourism sector in Rodrigues” and ensure that these activities are carried out properly, on time and on budget, from conception to implementation and completion,

• Ensure close coordination between the Commission for Tourism, the Tourism Working Group, the Project Technical Unit (PTU), the Project Implementation Unit (PIU) and the World Bank (WB) to ensure the fulfillment of the project goals and objectives of the Component as well as maintain a climate of lasting and favorable relations with beneficiaries, partners and all stakeholders concerned by the activities; and

• Ensure the sustainability of Project support.

Airports of Mauritius Co. Ltd (AML) now invites eligible Individual Consultants (“Consultants”) to indicate their interest in providing the Services. Interested Individuals should provide information demonstrating that they have the required qualifications and relevant experience to perform the Services.

A Consultant will be selected in accordance with the Selection of Individual Consultants method set out in the Procurement Regulations.
