• The Ministry of Health (MoH) has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Quality Essential Health Services and Systems Support Project (QEHSSSP) and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Procurement of Laboratory Reagents Consumables and Equipment such as Glucometer, Light Microscope, Beakers, Rapid Test Kits, Bags Blood Collecting, Blood Lancets etc.

For this contract, the Borrower shall process the payments using the Direct Payment disbursement method, as defined in the World Bank’s Disbursement Guidelines for Investment Project Financing, except for those payments, which the Purchaser deem fit to pay through the designated Project Account.

• The Integrated Health Projects Administration Unit of the Ministry of Health now invites bids from eligible Bidders with experience in supplying Laboratory Consumables Reagents and Equipment. The goods are to be delivered within four months upon signing of the contract. The goods are to be delivered to the Government of Sierra Leone National Medical Store outlet at New England Ville. No margin of preference is applicable.

• Bidding will be conducted through International Competitive procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” dated July 2016 and revised in November 2017, August 2018, and November 2020), and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.
