NAME OF THE PROJECT/ LOAN OR CREDIT NUMBER: RWANDA URBAN DEVELOPMENT PROJECT (RUDP) II / CREDIT NO. 5784-RWA

TITLE: Upgrading of Mirama Informal Settlement in the City of Nyagatare

  • The Nyagatare District hereinafter called Client funded by World Bank towards the cost of Upgrading of Mirama Informal Settlement in the City of Nyagatare. The Client intends to apply a portion of the funds to eligible payments under the tender for Upgrading of Mirama Informal Settlement in the City of Nyagatare.
  • The Nyagatare District now invites, by the present invitation to tender, sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders as follows:
  • Bidding will be conducted through International Competitive Bidding ICB and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the Bidding Documents Category A1 Road Construction
  • Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information on www.umucyo.gov.rw or from Executive Secretary, Nyagatare District, Po Box 20, NYAGATARE, Tel: +250 788 545 864.
  • A complete set of bidding Documents in English may be obtained by interested Bidders in e- procurement system www.umucyo.gov.rw from the date specified in e-procurement system,
  • The required tender document fees is Ten Thousand Rwandan francs (10,000 RWF), paid in a Bank after declaration on irembo website www.irembo.gov.rw . document fees it is not compasary for those who had paid it in the previous tender
  • A compulsory Site visit is scheduled on 3 /10/2024 and will be conducted by NYAGATARE District in charge staff. The venue for departure is fixed at NYAGATARE District offices at 10:00 am local time. For those who had visited in the previous tender, the visit is optional
  • Bids must be uploaded in Rwanda e-procurement system www.umucyo.gov.rw before the date and time specified in e-procurement system, local time. Bids submitted using method other than e-procurement system shall not be allowed. Late bids will not be accepted by the Rwanda e-procurement system. Bids will be opened automatically by e-procurement system at the date and time specified in e-procurement system, local time.
  • All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security as per e-procurement system
