REQUEST FOR QUOTATIONS TO SUPPLY OF A DRONE FOR MONITORING, REPORTING AND VERIFICATION (MRV) BATCH 1.

• The Ministry of Agriculture, Animal Industry and Fisheries has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Uganda Climate Smart Agricultural Transformation Project (UCSATP), and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for the Supply of a drone for Monitoring, Reporting and Verification (MRV) Batch 1.

• The Ministry of Agriculture, Animal Industry and Fisheries (MAAIF) now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for the Supply of a drone for Monitoring, Reporting and Verification (MRV) Batch 1.

• Bidding will be conducted through Open National Competitive bidding using a Request for Quotations (RFQ) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” September 2023 (“Procurement Regulations”), and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.

• Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding document during office hours 0900 to 1700 hours at the address given below;

• The bidding document in English may be picked by interested eligible Bidders upon the submission of a written application. The document will be sent/issued by both email and in hardcopy.

• Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 30th April 2025; 11:00am local time. Electronic Bidding will not be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected. The Bid envelope shall be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend, at the address below 30th April 2025; 11:30am; local time at the UCSATP Offices Plot 78, Buganda Road Wandegeya.

• All Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Securing Declaration.

• Attention is drawn to the Procurement Regulations requiring the Borrower to disclose information on the successful bidder’s beneficial ownership, as part of the Contract Award Notice, using the Beneficial Ownership Disclosure Form as included in the bidding document.
