• The Federal Government of Nigeria through the Federal Ministry of livestock Development has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Livestock Productivity and Resilience Support (L-PRES) Project and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Construction and Installation of Automated Hatchery and Breeder House in Niger State. Procurement process will be governed by the World Bank’s Procurement Regulations.

• The Niger State Project Implementation Unit, Livestock Productivity and Resilience Support (L-PRES) Project now invite sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for the above-mentioned activity in Niger State as follows;

Note: The project involves construction and Installation of Automated Hatchery and Breeder House in Niger State having a site preparation and earth work, Construction of security outpost and gate house, Perimeter fence, Hatchery Unit, and Breeder House. Installation of Solar and Supply of Hatchery Equipment. Strict undertaking of Social and Environmental Safeguard measures would be adhered to. The work is expected to be completed within 12 months.

• Bidding will be conducted through National Competitive procurement method using Request for Bids (RFB) document as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for

IPF Borrowers- Procurement in Investment Projects Financing” November, 2020- Fourth Edition (“Procurement Regulations”), and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.

• Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from the State Project Coordinator Niger State Livestock Productivity and Resilience Support (L-PRES) Project, State Project Implementation Unit (SPIU) and inspect the bidding document during office hours 0900 to 1600 at the address given below.
• The bidding document in English Language may be purchased by interested eligible Bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of One Hundred Thousand Naira (NGN100,000.00) only.
