Rehabilitation works of Rwanginggo - Karangazi marshlands

The Government of Rwanda (GOR) has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Commercialization and De-risking for Agricultural Transformation Project (CDAT), and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Rehabilitation works of Karangazi - Rwangingo marshlands.

• The Rwanda Agriculture and Animal Resources Development Board (RAB) / Commercialization and De-risking for Agricultural Transformation Project (CDAT) now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for Rehabilitation works of Karangazi - Rwangingo marshlands for a period of One (1) year with margin of preference of 7.5%.

• Bidding will be conducted through national competitive procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB), and is open to all eligible Bidders.

• Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from Rwanda online E-Procurement system (umucyo.gov.rw) in 20 daysbefore the fixed deadline for the submission of bids.

• A complete set of bidding documents in English language will be available and can be downloaded from the Rwanda online E-Procurement system (umucyo.gov.rw).

• Replies to clarifications requested by bidders will not be emailed directly to bidders. All responses to clarifications will be posted in the Rwanda online E-Procurement system (umucyo.gov.rw) and all registered bidders are solely responsible for monitoring the system during the bidding process for all clarifications/amendments with respect to this IFB.

• All bids will be submitted online using E-procurement system (www.umucyo.gov.rw) before as generated by E-procurement system. Late bids will not be accepted by the system. Bids will be opened automatically by E-procurement on the same day as at generated by e-procurement system.

• All Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of 14,000,000 Frw.

• The site visit is compulsory and is set on 31/10/2024, the meeting point will be at Head office of Gatsibo District - Eastern Province at 11:00 a.m., local time and will be guided by representatives of the CDAT Project (contact person: 0788 461 580 / 0788 512 496).

• The bids shall remain valid for a period of 120 days starting from the submission deadline.

N.B.: If a bidder is interested in seeing the drawings associated with this tender, they can submit a request for clarification via the e-procurement system and include their email address for the purpose of submitting drawings.
