Dear Shortlisted firm,

• The Water and Sanitation Corporation (WASAC Ltd) within the framework of the rehabilitation and extension of water supply systems in 13 districts under SPRP intervention has decided to recourse to consultancy services funded by the Government of Rwanda. The tender is made of 3 lot and the supervisor will supervise 3 different lots for rehabilitation of non-functional rural water supply systems within various region of the Country and Carry out resettlement action plan (RAP). the implementation period will be Thirteen months (13 months) for lot1 and Nineteen Months(19Months) for Lot2&3 from the date of reception of service order. This tender is open to companies in category “A”, consultancy services related to drinking water supply.

• The Water and Sanitation Corporation (WASAC Ltd) hereby invites the hereinafter interested consultants to provide the following consulting services: Supervision of the rehabilitation and extension of water supply systems in 13 districts under SPRP intervention. More details on the services are provided in the attached Terms of Reference.

• The present Request for Proposals is addressed to the shortlisted firms: Yes

• The Consultant will be selected under and in compliance with the following selection method [Quality and Cost - Based Selection (QCBS)][1] and procedures described hereinafter in the present Request For Proposals.

• The bid shall be accompanied by a bid security from a Bank or any other recognized financial institution of the amount specified in the e-procurement system.

• A complete set of Request For Proposals in English may be obtained by interested bidders in e-procurement system. The interested bidder shall present in the e-procurement system the bank slip as a proof of payment of a non-refundable fee of 10,000Frw or its equivalent in a freely convertible currency at the exchange rate applicable at the National Bank of Rwanda (BNR) at the day of payment.
