REQUEST FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FOR THE RECRUITMENT OF AN “INTERNATIONAL ROAD AND BRIDGE EXPERT”

The Government of the Republic of Rwanda (GoR) received a financing from the World Bank under the Kigali Logistics Platform Connectivity Development Project. Part of the project financing intends to cover eligible payments for services of the Road and Bridge Expert.

The services included under this project are the “International Road and Bridge Expert’’ to be based in Rwanda Transport Development Agency (RTDA) and will be selected in accordance with the Individual Consultant (IC) Method. The duration of services is twenty-four (24) months renewable depending on the performance and the available of financing.

Rwanda Transport Development Agency (RTDA) now invites eligible consultants to express their interest in providing these services. Interested consultants must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, etc.).

Eligibility criteria, establishment of the short-list and the selection procedure shall be in accordance with World Bank procurement regulations for IPF Borrowers, dated September 2023.

The consultant should be a Civil Engineer with minimum 20 years of experience in road and bridge construction projects. Detailed qualification and experience requirements are provided in the terms of reference, section 5.

Expressions of interest, in English, must be delivered to the address below by 05/05/2025 not later than 5:00 pm, Kigali time (3:00 pm GMT) with the mention “for International Road and Bridge Expert.”
