- The Government of Liberia has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Liberia Electricity Sector Strengthening and Access Project 2(LESSAP 2) and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the Contract Supply and Delivery of Low Voltage Current Transformer-operated Energy Meters and 22/33KV Medium Voltage Current- Transformer High Security Energy Metering Solutions for the Liberia Electricity Corporation (LEC). For this contract, the Borrower shall process the payments using the Direct Payment disbursement method, as defined in the World Bank’s Disbursement Guidelines for Investment Project Financing.
- The Liberia Electricity Corporation through the LESSAP PIU, now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for the Supply and Delivery of Low Voltage Current Transformer-operated Energy Meters and 22/33KV Medium Voltage Current- Transformer High Security Energy Metering Solutions for the Liberia Electricity Corporation (LEC) to be completed within a period of 4-6 months. | 210 | Lot-2 | MV CT METERS | Pcs | 273.Bidding will be conducted through international competitive procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” (Seventh edition “Procurement Regulations, September 2025 and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.4.Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the bidding documents at the offices indicated below, during working hours from Monday to Friday 9am-5pm GMT.5. Bids will be evaluated in accordance with the evaluation process set out in the bidding documents. The following weightings shall apply for Rated Criteria (including technical and non-price factors): Fifty percent (50 %)) and for Bid cost: Fifty percent (50 %).6.The bidding document in English may be purchased by interested Bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of Two Hundred United States Dollars (USD 200.00).
