• The Kingdom of Lesotho has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Lesotho Lowlands Water Development Project II and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Procurement and Installation of Borehole Drilling Equipment Components, Maintenance of Ground Water Fleet for the Department of Water Affairs.

• The Ministry of Natural Resources - Water now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for the Procurement and Installation of Borehole Drilling Equipment Components, Maintenance of the Ground Water Fleet for the Department of Water Affairs. The assignment involves the following: Procurement and Installation of Borehole Drilling Equipment Components, Maintenance of Ground Water Fleet for the Department of Water Affairs

• Bidding will be conducted through national competitive procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers -” November 2020 (“Procurement Regulations”) and is open to all eligible Bidders (or only to prequalified Bidders as the case may be) as defined in the Procurement Regulations.

• The Bidding document in English may be downloaded for free from www.llwdp.co.ls/opportunities/tenders as of Friday, August 11, 2023.

• Bids must be submitted to the below-mentioned address in paragraph 8 on or before Wednesday, September 27, 2023, at 11:00 am. Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below on Wednesday, September 27, 2023, at 11:00 am

• All Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of LSL 45,000.00 (Forty-five thousand Lesotho Loti) in the form of a Bank Guarantee.
