Eskom's Engineering, Procurement, and Construction Contract for the Design, Supply and Installation of a 100 MWe Central Receiver Concentrating Solar Power Plant in Upington, Northern Cape, South Africa

As a result of the increasing demand for electricity in South Africa,Eskom Holdings SOC Limited ("Eskom") has commenced with a major build program to increase its electricity generating capacity.

Eskom wishes to invite potential suppliers/contractors  through a request for information process for the purpose of ascertaining whether capable suppliers/contractors  exists in the market to submit information for Eskom's   Engineering, Procurement and Construction Contract for the Design, Supply and Installation of a 100 MWe Central Receiver Concentrating Solar Power Plant.

Eskom does not offer any commitment to enter into a contract or any form of agreement based on the information provided by the potential bidders.
