- The Government of Liberia has received financing from the World Bank and wants to apply a portion toward the cost of the pavement of a 2.4km access road corridor to the New Redemption Hospital located in Upper Caldwell, Montserrado County, and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract. “For this contract, the Borrower shall process the payments using the Direct Payment disbursement method, as defined in the World Bank’s Disbursement Guidelines for Investment Project Financing.”

The Ministry of Health (MoH) is the implementation agency, along with the Ministry of Public Works, responsible for project execution and results monitoring.3. The Ministry of Health now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for the pavement of the 2.4km access road corridor to the New Redemption Hospital for the project period of 9 months, with construction works to include earthworks, U-drain and culvert installation, asphalt and concrete pavements and sidewalks. There shall be no margin of preference.4. Bidding will be conducted through national competitive procurement using Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers for Procurement of Goods, Works, Non-Consulting and Consulting Services, July 1, 2016, November 2020, revised in September 2023 and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations (“Procurement Regulations”), and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.5. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from the Project Manager and inspect the Bidding document during office hours at the Project Implementation Unit, Ministry of Health from 0900 to 1700 hours GMT on working days at the address given below.6. The bidding document in the English language may be purchased by interested eligible Bidders following the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of US$100.00 (One Hundred United States Dollars). The payment will be made in cash to our finance team upon submission of an expression of interest from local entities. However, overseas bidders will make payment through the bank transfer details below. Nevertheless, a copy of the transfer document will be sent for verification by our finance team.
