- This Invitation for Bids follows the General Procurement Notice for this Project that appeared in dgMarket, issue of 31st January 2012.
- The Government of Botswana has received a loan from the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD) toward the cost of Integrated Transport Project, and it intends to apply partof the proceeds of this loan to payments under the Contract for Supply and Delivery of Assorted Information and Communication Technology Equipment Lots 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 Bidding will be governed by the World Bank's eligibility rules and procedures.
- The Ministry of Transport and Communications now invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for the Supply and Delivery of Assorted Information and Communication Technology Equipment Lots 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5.

Bidding will be conducted through the International Competitive Bidding (ICB) procedures specified in the World Bank'sGuidelines: Procurement under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits, dated May 2004, revised October 2006 and May 2010, and is open to all bidders from EligibleSource Countries as defined in the Guidelines.5. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the Bidding Documents at the address belowfrom 08:00 to 12:45 Hours and 13:45 to 16:30 Hours, local time, from Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays.Qualifications requirements include: being in possession of Audited accounts for the last 3 years, proof of availability offunds or credit line, minimum two (2) years in the overall experience of the firm in the supply of similar goods and related services in similar conditions, annual sales of at least twice the estimated requirements indicated for the lot for which bids are offered during any of the past three years in similar conditions, capability to complete the supply within the delivery period specified and availability inthe Botswana of after sales services. A margin of preference for certain goods manufactured domestically shall not be applied. Additional details are provided in the Bidding Document.6. A complete set of Bidding Documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders upon payment of a non refundable fee of Five Hundred and Sixty Botswana Pula (BWP560.00) or Fifty United States Dollars (USD50.00).The method of payment will be Cash or Bank Certified Cheque. Should the Bidding Documents be required to be sent by express mail the applicant will clearly indicate the delivery address and pay an extra BWP140.00 for postagewithin Botswana or USD20.00 for postage outside the country.8. Bids must be delivered to the address below at or before 08:00 hours local time on 27th June 2013. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected.
