TENDER NOTICE

TITLEOF TENDER: Upgrading of Ngugo Informal Settlement in the City of Rubavu

The World Bank funds the Rubavu District (now called “Client”) towards the cost of the upgrading of the ngugo informal settlement in the city of rubavu / rudp ii phase 4 by execution works of community infrastructure (youth centre/sport centre)

. The Client intends to apply a portion of the funds to eligible payments under the tender for the upgrading of the ngugo informal settlement in the city of rubavu / rudp ii phase 4 by execution works of community infrastructure (youth centre/sport centre)

• The Rubavu District now invites, by the present invitation to tender, sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders to bid for Ngugo informal settlement as follows: 1 Youth Centre/Sport Centre and 3 solid waste kits.

• Bidding will be conducted through National Competitive Bidding (NCB) and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the Bidding Documents.

• Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information on www.umucyo.gov.rw through request for clarification button.

• A complete set of bidding Documents in English may be obtained by interested Bidders in e- procurement system (www.umucyo.gov.rw ) from the date specified in e-procurement system,

• The required tender document fee is Ten Thousand Rwandan francs (10,000 RWF), paid in a Bank after declaration on irembo website (www.irembo.gov.rw )

• A compulsory Site visit is scheduled on 06/11/2024 and will be conducted by Rubavu District in-charge staff. The venue for departure is fixed at RUBAVU District offices at 11:00 am local time.as this is a readvertisment, the interested bidders who visited the site last time may revisit or not.

• Bids must be uploaded in the Rwanda e-procurement system before the date and time specified in the e-procurement system, local time. Bids submitted using a method other than the e-procurement system shall not be allowed. The Rwanda e-procurement system will not accept late bids. Bids will be opened automatically by the e-procurement system at the date and time specified in the e-procurement system, local time.

• The bid validity period is 120 days counted from the date of bid opening.

• All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security as per the e-procurement system

• The address (es) referred to above which will be used for the exchange of correspondence is the e-procurement system /umucyo.gov.rw through request clarification bouton.

• This tender’s procedures and practices will reflect the requirements of the current Laws governing public procurement.
