Supply of organic manure (compost) for model farm

TITLE OF THE TENDER: SUPPLY OF ORGANIC MANURE (COMPOST)

PROCUREMENT METHOD: NATIONAL COMPETITIVE BIDDING

The Government of Rwanda (GOR) has received a grant from Global Agriculture and Food Security Program (GAFSP), and intends to apply a portion of the proceeds of this grant to finance the supply of organic manure (compost).

The Rwanda Agriculture and Animal Resources Development Board (RAB) / The Second Sustainable Agricultural Intensification and Food Security Project (SAIP II) invite eligible bidders to submit bids for the supply of organic manure (compost).

The Rwanda Agriculture and Animal Resources Development Board (RAB) / Commercialization and De Risking for Agricultural Transformation (CDAT) Project invite eligible bidders to submit bids for the supply of organic manure (compost), divided into the following Lots:

Lot 1: Supply of organic manure (compost) in Nyagatare,Gatsibo and Rwamagana Districts;

Lot 2: Supply of organic Manure (Compost) in Kayonza,Kirehe,Bugesera and Ngoma Districts;

Lot 3: Supply of organic Manure (Compost) in Nyanza,Ruhango,Muhanga and Kamonyi Districts ;

Lot 4: Supply of organic Manure (Compost) in Gisagara, Huye and Rusizi Districts;

Lot 5: Supply of organic Manure (Compost) in Rulindo, Nyabihu,Ngororero, Karongi and Rutsiro Districts.

The tender document in English may be obtained online using the Rwanda Online E-Procurement system (www.umucyo.gov.rw).

For submission purpose, each bidder must pay a nonrefundable amount equal to ten thousand Rwanda francs (10,000 Frw). The amount to be deposited to the RRA account opened in any commercial Bank.

All bids will be submitted online using the Rwanda On-Line E-Procurement system throughwww.umucyo.gov.rw not later than the date and time indicated by e-procurement system. Late bids will not be accepted by the system. Bids will be opened automatically by the Rwanda Online E-Procurement system on the same day as per the time indicated by the e-procurement system. The bids shall remain valid for a period of 120 days starting from the submission deadline mentioned above. All interested bidders may obtain some complementary information by writing using the Rwanda Online E-Procurement system in 14 days before the fixed deadline for the submission of bids.
