• The Republic of South Africa has received financing from the World Bank towards the cost of the Technical Assistance Project for Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) in the Republic of South Africa and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for “the supply of multi-parameter water quality testing meters and buffer solutions”. For this contract, the Borrower shall process the payments using the Direct Payment disbursement method, as defined in the World Bank’s Disbursement Guidelines for Investment Project Financing.

• The Council for Geoscience (CGS) now invites potential suppliers to provide quotations for laboratory services of gas analysis. The required goods are listed in the table below.

• Bidding will be conducted through the National competitive procurement using a Request for Quotation (RFQ) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers – November 2020” (“Procurement Regulations”) and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.

• Quotations must be delivered to the address below on or before 06 December 2023 at 16h:00 or email to [email protected]. Late Bids will be rejected.

• Attention is drawn to the Procurement Regulations requiring the Borrower to disclose information on the successful bidder’s beneficial ownership, as part of the Contract Award Notice, using the Beneficial Ownership Disclosure Form as included in the bidding document as Appendix 11
