  • The Gambia Ministry of Health (MOH) has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of The Gambia Essential Health Services Strengthening Project and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract[1] for the Provision of Medical Equipment for the National Diagnostic Imaging Center at Farato Complex “For this contract, the Borrower shall process the payments using the Direct Payment disbursement method, as defined in the World Bank’s Disbursement Guidelines for Investment Project Financing, except for those payments, which the contract provides to be made through letter of credit.”

4General Furniture and Materials• Bidders may Bid for one or several contracts, as further defined in the request for bids document. Bidders wishing to offer discounts in case they are awarded more than one contract will be allowed to do so, provided those discounts are included in the Letter of Bid.• The minimum qualification criteria are defined in Section III of the bidding document:• Financial capability• Specific Experience• Delivery schedule• Technical specifications• Manufacturing experience and Technical Capacity• Manufacturer’s authorization• Implementation plan• Bidding will be conducted through international competitive procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” dated July 2016, revised November 2017 and August 2018 edition (“Procurement Regulations”), and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.• Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information through email from the MOH PCU Coordinator, Mr. Abdoulie Mam Njie, Email: [email protected] and copy [email protected] Telephone: +220 3373333.6. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below.8.
