• The Ministry of Health (MoH) has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Quality Essential Health Services and Systems Support Project (QEHSSSP) and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for

Procurement of Medical Equipment “For these contracts, the Borrower shall process the payments using the Direct Payment disbursement method, as defined in the World Bank’s Disbursement Guidelines for Investment Project Financing, except for those payments, which the Purchaser deem fit to pay through the designated Project Account.

• The Integrated Health Projects Administration Unit of the Ministry of Health now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for supply and Installation of medical equipment (description of the medical equipment can be accessed upon request to [email protected]). The equipment are to be delivered and Installed within four months upon signing of the contract. The goods are to be delivered to the Government of Sierra Leone National Medical Store, New England Ville for pre- inspection. Final inspection shall be conducted at the target’s health facilities in Bonthe, Falaba, Tonkolili and Western Rural districts after installation. No margin of preference is applicable.

• Bidding will be conducted through National Competitive procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” September 2023 (“Procurement Regulations”) and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.

• The bidding document in English may be purchased by interested Bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of One Thousand Five Hundred Leones (Le 1,500) or equivalent in any freely convertible currency. The document will be sent via email at the request of interested Bidders upon receipt of evidence of payment. MoH shall not accept liability for loss in transmission or late delivery.
