ASSIGNMENT TITLE: Selection of Individual Consultant to develop the Quarterly handbook on Economic Statistics
The African Union Commission has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Harmonizing and Improving Statistics in West Africa ", and intends to apply part of the proceeds for consulting services.
The consulting services (“the Services”) include The consultancy works on the elaboration of the Quarterly handbook on Economic Statistics for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd Quarters of 2022, that will focus on National Account, Prices, Debt, Public Finances, Trade and Balance, according to outline agreed by STATAFRIC. At each step, the document will be updated to integrate comments and recommendations of STATAFRIC and various STGs-Meeting of SHaSA 2..
The African Union Commission now invites eligible Individual Consultants (“Consultants”) to indicate their interest in providing the Services. Interested Consultants should provide information demonstrating that they have the required qualifications and relevant experience to perform the Services. The shortlisting criteria are: Qualification and Experience.
The attention of interested Consultants is drawn to paragraph 3.14 – 3.17 of the World Bank’s Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers - Procurement in Investment Project Financing, Goods, Works, Non-Consulting and Consulting Services, dated July 2016 and revised Nov. 2020. (“Procurement Regulations”), setting forth the World Bank’s policy on conflict of interest.
A Consultant will be selected in accordance with the Individual Consultant selection method set out in the Procurement Regulations.
