  • The Government of Liberia has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Institutional Foundations to Improve Services for Health (IFISH) Project and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Enhanced Rehabilitation and Expansion of Skill Laboratories in 3 Selected Nursing and Midwifery Institutions in (3) three Counties (Bomi, Lofa & Grand Gedeh). For this contract, the Borrower shall process the payments using the Direct Bank Transfer Payment method.
  • The Ministry of Health now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for Enhanced Rehabilitation and Expansion of Skill Laboratories in 3 selected Nursing and Midwifery Institutions in Bomi, Lofa & Grand Gedeh Counties. This activity will be divided into three (3) Lots as per the below schedule of requirements:

The bid will be evaluated on a “lot-by-lot basis.” If any bidder is bidding for multiple lots, the bidder must meet the qualification requirements for the respective lots on which bids have been submitted. There will be no margin of preference for this contract.4. Bidding will be conducted through National Competitive Bidding (NCB) procurement using Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers - Procurement in Investment Projects Financing” for IPF Borrowers for Procurement of Goods, Works, Non-Consulting and Consulting Services, July 1, 2016, November 2020, revised in September 2023 and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations (“Procurement Regulations”).(A): A Bidder registered within Liberia:• Valid Legal Status of Company:Certificate of IncorporationCertificate to Commence Business.ii. The Bidding document in English language may be purchased by interested eligible Bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of US$50.00 (Fifty United States Dollars). The method of payment will be direct cash payment to the Project Implementation Unit (PIU) Finance Officer (s) upon submission of a letter expressing interest to participate in the bidding process. Payment will be made at the Finance Office at the One Health Building, and a payment receipt will be issued to the purchaser. The bidding document will be issued by the Project Implementation Unit to the entity (s). The bidding document will be delivered through hardcopy and a soft copy on a pen drive.7.
