Assignment Title: Consultancy services – Communication Specialist

The Government of Mauritius has received financing from the World Bank for the Rodrigues Airport Project, which has been co-financed by the European Union, and intends to apply part of the proceeds for consulting services.

AML is thus, inviting Consultants/Service Providers to express their interest to submit proposal for a Communication Specialist.

The principal objectives of the Communication Specialist are to:

• enhance the visibility of the project,

• support implementation and periodic updating of the Stakeholder Engagement Plan (SEP), including coordinating internal and external communications,

• Collaborate with and support the Social Specialist in the implementation of the project Grievance Redress Mechanism (GRM, a component of the SEP) to ensure satisfactory receipt and resolution of all project-related grievances

• to identify and mitigate the risks that could raise in the initial stage of the project implementation,

• and to create awareness with the different institutions of the importance of working in a communications strategy that responds the needs of the project at the different stages, to minimize reputational and credibility risks.

The Communication Specialist will be a member of the Project Compliance Unit, reporting to the Project Manager.

Airports of Mauritius Co. Ltd (AML) now invites eligible Individual Consultants (“Consultants”) to indicate their interest in providing the Services. Interested Individuals should provide information demonstrating that they have the required qualifications and relevant experience to perform the Services.

A Consultant will be selected in accordance with the Selection of Individual Consultants method set out in the Procurement Regulations.
