INVESTMENT FOR INDUSTRIAL TRANSFORMATION AND EMPLOYMENT (INVITE) PROJECT Project No.: P171607 REQUEST FOR BIDS FOR PROVISION OF HOTEL AND CONFERENCE SERVICES UNDER FRAMEWORK CONTRACT ARRANGEMENTS Reference No: UG-PSFU-516700-NC-RFB 1. The Government of Uganda received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Investment for Industrial Transformation and Employment (INVITE) Project and intends to apply part of the proceeds under the Framework Contract for Hotel and Conference Services. 2. Government of Uganda, represented by Private Sector Foundation Uganda (PSFU), now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for the above services. 3. Bidding will be conducted through a Request for Bids (RFB) procedure as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” dated November 2020 (“Procurement Regulations”), and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations. 4. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from PSFU-INVITE; E-mail [email protected] and inspect the Bidding Document during office hours (8:00 am to 5:00 pm) at the address given in No. 8. 5. The bidding documents may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below at No. 8 and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of UGX 50,000 (Uganda shillings fifty thousand only). Payment will be made to Uganda Revenue Authority through a convenient commercial bank after obtaining a Bank Payment Advice Form from the URA website. Bidders may make arrangements with courier service providers to have the bidding documents delivered to them. However, PSFU-INVITE shall not accept liability for loss or late delivery. 6.
