Specific Procurement Notice Request for Bids Small Works (One-Envelope Bidding Process) Country: Kingdom of Lesotho Name of Project: Lesotho Lowlands Water Development Project II Contract Title: Construction of District Metered Areas on the 5ML Supply Zone in the Tikoe-Tsolo Area, Maseru Credit No.: 6403 RFB Reference No.: LLWDP/W/23 • The Kingdom of Lesotho has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Lesotho Lowlands Water Development Project II and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Construction of District Metered Areas on the 5ML Supply Zone in the Tikoe-Tsolo Area, Maseru.

For this contract, the Borrower shall process the payments using the Direct Payment disbursement method, as defined in the World Bank’s Disbursement Guidelines for Investment Project Financing. • The Ministry of Water now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for Construction of District Metered Areas on the 5ML Supply Zone in the Tikoe-Tsolo Area, Maseru (Coordinates are 29˚21’26” 27 ˚27’32”). • Bidding will be conducted through international competitive procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers Procurement in Investment Projects Financing” Goods, Works, Non-Consulting and Consulting Services July 2016 Revised November 2017, August 2018, November 2021 and July 2023 (“Procurement Regulations”) and is open to all Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations. • Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from LLWDP-II, for the attention of Ms.
