• The Federal Government of Nigeria (FGN) (hereinafter called “Borrower”) has received financing from the International Development Association (IDA) (the “Bank”) in the form of a “credit” (hereinafter called “credit” toward the cost of Livestock Productivity and Resilience Support (L-PRES) Project and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Establishment of Communal Grazing Land at Paiko, Agaie and New Bussa in Niger State. Procurement process will be governed by the World Bank’s Procurement Regulations.

Note: The project involves establishment of communal grazing land at Paiko, Agaie and New Bussa having an existing site, construction of administrative block, drilling of solar powered borehole, solar lighting system, construction of perimeter fence, gate house and gate, animal drinking point, dipping pit, ruminant shed and establishment of pasture. Strict undertaking of Social and Environmental Safeguard measures. The work is expected to be completed within 12 months.

• Bidding will be conducted through National Competitive procurement method using

Request for Bids (RFB) document as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers - Procurement in Investment Projects Financing” November, 2020 - Fourth Edition (“Procurement Regulations”), and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.

• Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from the State Project Coordination Office Niger State Livestock Productivity and Resilience Support (L-PRES) Project and inspect the bidding document during office hours 0900 to 1600 at the address given.

• The bidding document in English Language may be purchased by interested eligible Bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of One Hundred and Fifty Thousand Naira (NGN150,000.00) only per LOT. The method of payment will be direct deposit to the specified account below. The document will be made available at the address below.
