This review aims to provide an early assessment of how effectively Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) supports returning migrant workers in re-entering the domestic labour market by examining its impact on employability, income, and job quality, as well as employer and sectoral perceptions of RPL certification. It will analyse beneficiary profiles—including poverty status, employment conditions, demographics, disability, and location—and capture both positive and negative views from workers and employers, supported by five case studies and five employer perspectives.
