IC Expert for Personal Income Tax Law — EU Harmonization Support

Description of the Assignment: To provide support in the process of harmonizing Serbia’s national personal income tax framework with EU requirements under Chapter 16 – Taxation, by reviewing the existing provisions of the Personal Income Tax Law and assessing their alignment with applicable European Union legislation, principles, and best practices, thereby contributing to a transparent, fair, and efficient personal income tax system while ensuring compliance with international taxation standards.

To support the State Tax Administration (STA) and the Ministry of Finance (MoF) as main beneficiaries, in fulfilling European Union accession requirements under Chapter 16 – Taxation, through the modernization, alignment, and harmonization of national tax legislation and practices with the EU acquis. Proposal should be submitted directly in the portal no later than indicated deadline. Any request for clarification must be sent in writing via messaging functionality in the portal.

UNDP will respond in writing including an explanation of the query without identifying the source of inquiry. Please indicate whether you intend to submit a bid by creating a draft response without submitting directly in the system. This will enable the system to send notifications in case of amendments of the tender requirements.
