What is this tender about?

Peer-Reviewed Journal Publication Services — UNICEF is a consulting & studies procurement opportunity published by UNICEF in Multiple countries on March 27, 2026. 1 official document is attached below.

UNICEF has now issued a Request for Proposals in order to select a vendor for the provision of Peer-Reviewed Journal – Editorial and Special Collection Publication Services. This collection will be valuable for Expanded Programme on Immunization (EPI) and NCD programme managers, policymakers, and UNICEF country and regional teams seeking scalable, field-tested approaches for improving PHC performance. By highlighting how decision-makers co-lead the research process and translate findings into actionable reforms, the papers will demonstrate how embedded IR enhances programme quality, accelerates adoption of effective interventions, and supports long-term institutionalization of evidence-informed decision-making.

To disseminate this evidence globally, UNICEF will engage in a peer-reviewed academic journal to publish a Special Collection of approximately 20 manuscripts and one editorial and one viewpoint. The journal, as the service provider, will be responsible for Editorial management including: This contract covers editorial workflow and publication services only. All manuscripts shall be subject to the journal’s standard independent peer-review process.

Final acceptance decisions remain solely at the discretion of the journal’s editorial board. UNICEF acknowledges that submission of a manuscript does not guarantee acceptance for publication. This tender will be run through the UNICEF e-submissions system.

By clicking on the blue ‘Express Interest’ button in the UNGM tender notice, the full UNICEF e-submission system instructions to bidders document (including instructions on how to access the tender documents and submit an Offer) will be automatically emailed to the ‘contact persons’ included in your UNGM registration.
