Tender Name: Procurement and Distribution of Nitrogen Fertilizer through

a Retail Voucher System

Bid No. IFB No: ICB ZAIP 001/07/2010

GRM International Ltd has applied for a grant from the World Bank towards the cost of the Zimbabwe Agricultural Inputs Project, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of the grant towards payments under the contract for the supplyof fertilizer.

GRM International Ltd now invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for the supply and delivery of 6250 MT of Nitrogen based Fertilizer through a retail voucher system to various wards in 20 rural districts in Zimbabwe.

Bidders must provide documentary evidence of legal ability to do business in Zimbabwe, or, if the Bidder is not doing business in Zimbabwe, the Bidder shall supply documentary evidence to establish to the Purchaser's satisfaction that the Bidder will (if awarded the contract) be represented by an agent in Zimbabwe equipped and able to carry out the related services. The date for completion of supply is 30th October 2010.

Bidding will be conducted through the international competitive bidding procedures as specified in the World Bank's Guidelines: Procurement under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits, May 2004 revisedOctober 2006 and May 2010, and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the guidelines.

Interested eligible biddersmay obtain further information from and inspect the bidding documentsfrom GRM International Ltd at the address below during office hours [from 8.30 to 12.00; 14.00 to 16.00 hours local time (Monday to Friday, except national public holidays). A complete set of bidding documents in English language may be purchased by interested bidders at the address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of USD60.00. The method of payment will be in the form of cash only.

All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Securing Declaration, and deposited in the Tender Box at the address below on or before August 6, 2010 at 14.00 hours local time. Late bids will be rejected and returned unopened to the bidders. Bids will be opened immediately thereafter,in the presence of the bidders' representatives who choose to attend at the address below.
