- The Government of Kenya has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Kenya Digital Economy Acceleration Project and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Procurement of Additional 14,590 Zimbra Licenses, Provision of Professional Support for the Zimbra Email System, Upgrade of The Email System and Review, Upgrade and Scaling of Hosting Infrastructure.
- The Information and Communications Technology Authority now invite sealed Bids from eligible Bidders forProcurement of Additional 14,590 No. Licenses, Provision of Professional Support for the Zimbra Email System, Upgrade of The Email System and Review, Upgrade and Scaling of Hosting Infrastructure.
- Bidding will be conducted through national competitive procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” First Published July 2016 and Revised Fifth Edition, September, 2023 (“Procurement Regulations”) and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.
- Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from ICT Authority, Deputy Director Supply Chain Management [email protected] and inspect the bidding document during office hours 0900to 1600 hours at the address given below
- The bidding document in English may be downloaded free of charge from the ICTA’s website https://www.icta.go.ke/tenders or PPIP https://tenders.go.ke/tenders Bidders who download the bidding documents are required to notify the procuring entity by email with full contact details that they intended to participate, this will facilitate issuance of notifications by the procuring entity, to all bidders wherenecessary.
- Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 1000 Hrs East African Time 15th July 2026.Electronic Bidding will not be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in thepresence of the Bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below on 1000 Hrs East African Time 15th July 2026.
- All Bids must be accompanied by a bid security of Kes. 4 Million (Kenya Shillings Four Million Only)or equivalent in a freely convertible currency.
- Attention is drawn to the Procurement Regulations requiring the Borrower to disclose information on the successful bidder’s beneficial ownership, as part of the Contract Award Notice, using the Beneficial Ownership Disclosure Form as included in the bidding document.
