- The Ministry of Health (MoH) has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Quality Essential Health Services and Systems Support Project (QEHSSSP) and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Procurement of Laboratory Equipment, Reagent, and Supplies (4 BD MAX system; 4 BD SARS-CoV-2 Reagents; D MAX™ Enteric Viral Panel, PCR Cartridge and others as outlined in the Schedule of Requirements).
- The Integrated Health Projects Administration Unit of the Ministry of Health now invites bids from eligible Bidders with experience in supplying Laboratory Equipment, Reagent, and Supplies. The goods are to be delivered within five months upon signing of the contract. The goods are to be delivered to the Government of Sierra Leone, National Medical Store outlet at New England Ville. No margin of preference is applicable.
- Bidding will be conducted through Open International Market Approach (International Competitive Procurement) using the Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement in Investment Project Financing – Goods, Works, Non-Consulting and Consulting Services (dated July 2016 and revised in November 2017, August 2018, November 2020, September 2023 and February 2025), and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.

- The bidding document in English may be purchased by interested Bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of One Thousand Five Hundred Leones (Le 1,500) or equivalent in any freely convertible currency. The bidding document will be sent via email at the request of interested Bidders upon receipt of evidence of payment. MoH would not accept liability for loss in transmission or late delivery.
