Recruitment of a Firm for Consulting Services Related to BESS Testbed — Moroccan Agency for Sustainable Energy

NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST N°117/2025/MASEN REGARDING RECRUITMENT OF A FIRM FOR CONSULTING SERVICES RELATED TO: BATTERY ENERGY STORAGE SYSTEMS (BESS) TESTBED IN MOROCCO The Moroccan Agency for Sustainable Energy (MASEN) is launching a Request for Expressions of Interest for the recruitment of a firm to provide consulting services for the project to establish a Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) test platform in Morocco, with the support of the World Bank through the Energy Sector Management Assistance Program (ESMAP).

This project, funded by grant, is part of the development of innovative energy storage solutions and aims to equip MASEN’s R&D platform, located at the Noor Ouarzazate Solar Complex, with a test bench to assess the performance of BESS systems. Interested firms are invited to express their interest by completing the questionnaire available at the following link: https://etendering.masen.ma The deadline for receipt of responses to the above-mentioned Request for Expressions of Interest is set for Thursday, October 9th, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. (Moroccan time).

Note: Firms that have previously submitted an Expression of Interest under REoI-117/2025/Masen are not required to resubmit.
