Recruitment of community engagement expert — Volcanoes Community Resilience Project

REQUEST FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST (EOI) Individual consultant to work as a Community Engagement Expert under Volcanoes Community Resilience Project (VCRP). 1.The Government of Rwanda through the Ministry of Environment (MoE) has received funds from WORLD BANK towards the cost to implement the Project Preparation Advance for the Volcano Community Resilience project. The Client intends to apply a portion of the funds to eligible payments under the contract of Hiring a Community Engagement expert for which this Request for expression of interest is issued.

• The Ministry of Environment now solicits experienced individual consultant to express their interest to provide the Consultancy as community engagement expert 3. The consultants will be shortlisted following the evaluation of their Expression of Interest in accordance with the Law N° 031/2022 of 21/11/2022 Governing Public Procurement and Ministerial order N° 002/20/10/TC of 19/05/2020 establishing regulations on public procurement.

• Late applications shall not be considered and only online application is acceptable through e-Procurement system; The deadline for the submission of applications has been extended to 17th July 2023 at 10:00 in the system and the applications will be opened automatically by the E-Procurement system at www.umucyo.gov.rw on the same day at 10:30 local time. Your documents shall be valid for a period of 120 days from the date of submission.

• All interested Consultants may obtain some complementary information by writing using the E-Procurement system within two thirds (2/3) of the deadline period for the submission of tenders as of the date of tender notice publication before the fixed deadline for the submission of expression of Interest.
