| DATE OF ISSUE | 26th January 2025• The Government of Kenya has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of Kenya Marine Fisheries and Socio-economic Development Project (KEMFSED), and it intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Supply and Delivery of 3 No. Longliner Offshore Fishing Boats.• The County Government of Mombasa (Blue Economy, Agriculture, Livestock and Cooperatives) now invites sealed bids from eligible Bidders for Supply and Delivery of 3 No. Longliner Offshore Fishing Boats.• Bidding will be conducted through national competitive procurement using Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers Fifth Edition September 2023 (“Procurement Regulations”) and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.4. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from Kenya Marine Fisheries Socio-Economic Development Project (KEMFSED) (County Office) Procurement Office Mail: [email protected] Telephone:0720-485-692 situated at Mombasa County Fisheries Office (Liwatoni) from Monday to Friday excluding weekends and public holidays during office hours East Africa Time from 0800hours – 1700hours and inspect the bidding document during office hours at the address given below.5. A complete set of bidding document in English may be obtained by interested eligible Bidders from our website at www.kemfsed.org and the county website www.mombasa.go.ke6. Bids must be deposited into the tender box located at the County Fisheries Office (Liwatoni) 2nd Floor Mombasa CPIU to be received on or before 17th February 2025 at 11.00 hrs. EAT (Local Time). The bids should be clearly marked ‘Supply and Delivery of 3 No. Longliner Offshore Fishing Boats, Tender No; KEMFSED/PRO/T/001/2025-2026 Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of Bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at the address below on 17th February 2025 at 11.00 hrs. EAT (Local Time). Electronic bids SHALL NOT be accepted.7.
