This invitation for bids follows the general procurement notice forthis project that appeared in Development Business, which was issued on June 6, 2005 2. The Government of Djibouti has received a credit from the International Development Associationtoward the cost of a wind power farm in Arta, Djibouti. 3.

The Prime Minister Office now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the supply and installation of the power wind farm in Arta with a total maximum capacity installed of 4 MW, with the following composition as base case o 4 Wind energy converters (WEC) between 800 until 1000 kW rated power o or 3 WEC-units between 1000 until 1300 kW rated power o or 2 WEC #units between 1500 until 2000 The bidder is allowed to offer / propose one more unit according the base case category out of the budget.

• Bidding will be conducted through the international competitive bidding procedures specified in the World Bank#s Guidelines: Procurement under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits, and is open to all bidders from eligible source countries as defined in the guidelines. 5.
