  • The Government of Ghana has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the West Africa Food System Resilience Program (FSRP 2) and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for The Supply of 500,000 no. Kuroiler birds (6 weeks old) for smallholder farmers.:
  • The Ministry of Food and Agriculture now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for Supply of 500,000 no. Kuroiler birds (6 weeks old) for smallholder farmers as follows:

  • Bidding will be conducted through national competitive procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” sixth edition dated February 2025 which can be found at the following website: www.worldbank.org/procure (“Procurement Regulations”) and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.
  • Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from Ministry of Food and Agriculture, West Africa Food System Resilience Program’s (FSRP) Procurement Specialist, and inspect the bidding document during office hours 09:00hrs to 16:00 hour at the address given below.
  • The bidding document in English language may be purchased by interested Bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of GHS 1500.00. The method of payment will be by Cash to the West Africa Food System Resilience Program (FSRP). The document will be physically picked up at the address below.
  • Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 10:30hrs GMT on May 28, 2026, Electronic Bidding will not be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below on May 28, 2026, at 10:30hrs GMT.
  • All Bids must be accompanied by a “Bid Security” of the amounts indicated in the table above.
  • Attention is drawn to the Procurement Regulations requiring the Borrower to disclose information on the successful bidder’s beneficial ownership, as part of the Contract Award Notice, using the Beneficial Ownership Disclosure Form as included in the bidding document.
