ZIMBABWE ELECTRICITY TRANSMISSION AND DISTRIBUTION COMPANY (ZETDC) GENERAL PROCUREMENT NOTICE Country: Zimbabwe Name of Project: Zimbabwe Renewable Energy Project – Technical Assistance (ZREP-TA) Sector: Energy Grant No: TF0D0261 Project ID No: P511160 The Government of Zimbabwe has received grant financing from the World Bank towards the cost of the Zimbabwe Renewable Energy Project – Technical Assistance (ZREP-TA) and intends to apply part of the proceeds for the procurement of goods, non-consulting services, and consulting services.
The Project includes the following components: • Procurement of Goods; and • Procurement of Consulting Services and non- Consulting Services. Description of procurement activities and the timing of the Invitation for Requests for Bids (RFB) or Requests for Proposals (RFP) and or Requests for Expressions of Interest (REOI) for procurement activities using procedures that will be advertised internationally include the following: (i) Consulting Services • Transaction Advisory Services for the Procurement of 370 MW Solar PV Projects under the ZREP-TA Project • Environmental & Social and Technical Site Studies for Five (5) Solar PV Parks under ZREP-TA Project (ii) Non Consultancy Services To Be Identified (iii) Civil Works Non Identified Procurement of contracts financed by the World Bank will be conducted through the procedures as specified in the “World Bank Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers for Procurement in Investment Project Financing (IPF) for Goods, Works, Non-Consulting and Consulting Services 6th Edition February 2025 (also referred to as “Procurement Regulations".) Specific procurement notices for contracts to be entered into under international selection for Works and Consulting Services using the World Bank’s selection procedures will be announced, as they become available, in UN Development Business Online and in local newspapers of wide circulation.
Interested eligible bidders and consulting firms who wish to be included on the mailing list to receive invitations to prequalify and or bid under the specific bidding processes and interested and eligible Consulting Firms who wish to be included in the mailing list for Consulting Services assignment to be advertised internationally or those requiring additional information, should contact the address below during office hours 08:00 – 13:00 and from 14:00 to 16:30 hours local time Zimbabwe Mondays to Fridays, except Public Holidays.
