- The Government of the Republic of Sierra Leone has received financing from the World Bank towards the cost of the Enhancing Sierra Leone Energy Access Project (ESLEAP) and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract[1] for the supply of 1,585 Galvanized Steel Poles for Medium Voltage (MV) and Low Voltage (LV) Distribution Overhead Lines with Crossarm and accessories for 12 & 16m MV poles. For this contract, the Borrower shall process the payments using the Direct Payment disbursement method, as defined in the World Bank’s Disbursement Guidelines for Investment Project Financing, except for those payments that the contract provides to be made through a Designated Account.
- The Electricity Distribution and Supply Authority (EDSA) now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for the Supply of 1,585 Galvanized Steel Poles for Medium Voltage (MV) and Low Voltage (LV) Distribution Overhead Lines with Crossarm and accessories for 12 & 16m MV poles as summarized below:
