The Loan Agreement prohibits a withdrawal from the Loan account for the purpose of any payment to persons or entities, or for any import of goods, if such payment or import, to the knowledge of the Bank, is prohibited by a decision of the United Nations Security council taken under Chapter VII of the Charter of the United Nations. No party other than the Client shall derive any rights from the Agreement or have any claims to the proceeds of the Loan.

The Ministry of Fisheries and the Blue Economy (MFBE) now invites eligible consulting firms (“Consultants”) to indicate their interest in providing the Services. The attention of interested Consultants is drawn to Section III, paragraphs, 3.14, 3.16, and 3.17 of the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” July 2016 (“Procurement Regulations”), setting forth the World Bank’s policy on conflict of interest.
