• The National Fisheries and Aquaculture Authority (NaFAA) of the Republic of Liberia has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Reconstruction of the Klay Hatchery and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for the reconstruction of the Klay Hatchery. For this contract, the Borrower shall process the payments using the Direct Payment disbursement method, as defined in the World Bank’s Disbursement Guidelines for Investment Project Financing.

• The Liberian Sustainable Management Fisheries Project (LSMFP) now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for for the Reconstruction of the Klay Hatchery located at Bomi County, Republic of Liberia. The duration of the implantation of the works is intended not to exceed 12 months.

• Bidding will be conducted through international competitive procurement using Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers- Procurement in Investment Projects Financing” 2016 “Procurement Regulations”, and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.

• Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from Liberian Sustainable Management Fisheries Project (LSMFP), through Mr. Abraham W. • The Bidding document in English may be purchased by interested eligible Bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of Three Hundred United States Dollars (USD 300.00). • Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 11:00am (local time), Monday, March 10, 2025. Electronic bidding will be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected. The outer Bid envelopes marked “ORIGINAL BID,” and the inner envelopes marked “TECHNICAL PART” will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend, at the address below at 11:30am (local time), Conference Room, NaFAA Technical Building, Coast Guard Base, Freeport of Monrovia, Liberia. All envelopes marked “FINANCIAL PART” shall remain unopened and will be held in safe custody of the Employer until the second public Bid opening. Financial envelopes submitted electronically must be password encrypted.

• All Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of USD 100,000.00

• All Bids must be accompanied by a Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (SEA) and/or Sexual Harassment (SH) Declaration.
