• The Southern African Power Pool has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Southern African Power Pool Program for Accelerating Transformational Energy Projects, and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for SAPP Transmission Grid Maps Development.

• The Southern African Power Pool now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for SAPP Transmission Grid Maps Development.

• Bidding will be conducted through international competitive procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB) in accordance with the policies of the World Bank detailed in the Consultants’ Guidelines which can be found at the following website: www.worldbank.org/procure and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.

• Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from the Southern African Power Pool, Thembekani Luthuli, [email protected] and copy [email protected].

• The bidding document in English may be requested by interested eligible Bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below.

• Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 26 April 2018. Electronic Bidding will not be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below on 26 April 2018.

• All Bids must be accompanied by a Bid-Securing Declaration.
