  • The Government of the Republic of Sierra Leone has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Enhancing Sierra Leone Energy Access Project (ESLEAP) and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract[1] for the supply of 6 Pick-Up 4WD vehicles; 3 Double Cab, Medium commercial vehicle (Truck) 2-3.5 ton for Utility; 1 Heavy duty LHD 8X4 10wheels 20ton hydraulic Knuckle Boom crane mounted truck; 1Knuckle Boom Cargo, LHD 4X2, 8ton hydraulic Crane mounted truck and Van-mounted modular fault location system for low, medium and high voltage underground cables. For this contract, the Borrower shall process the payments using the Direct Payment disbursement method, as defined in the World Bank’s Disbursement Guidelines for Investment Project Financing, except for those payments that the contract provides to be made through Designated Account.
  • The Electricity Distribution and Supply Authority (EDSA) now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for the Supply of 6 Pick-Up 4WD vehicles; 3 Double Cab, Medium commercial vehicles (Truck) 2-3.5 ton for Utility; 1 Heavy duty LHD 8X4 10wheels 20ton hydraulic Knuckle Boom crane mounted truck; 1 Knuckle Boom Cargo, LHD 4X2, 8ton hydraulic Crane mounted truck, and Van-mounted modular fault location system for low, medium and high voltage underground cables as summarized below:
