REPUBLIC OF ZAMBIA OFFICE OF THE PRESIDENT – PROVINCIAL ADMINISTRATION MUCHINGA PROVINCE INVITATION FOR BIDS “TO CONSTRUCT SIX (6) LOW COST STAFF HOUSES, ONE (1) HIGH COST STAFF HOUSE, TWO (2) PARK ENTRY GATES, ONE (1) INFORMATION CENTRE INCLUDING OTHER SUPPORT INFRASTRUCTURE, AND THE REHABILITATION OF SEVEN (7) EXISTING LOW COST STAFF HOUSES AT FIBISHI CAMPS IN LAVUSHIMANDA DISTRICT OF MUCHINGA PROVINCES UNDER THE MINISTRY OF GREEN ECONOMY AND ENVIRONMENT - TRANSFORMING LANDSCAPES FOR RESILIENCE AND DEVELOPMENT (TRALARD) PROJECT” The Transforming Landscapes for Resilience and Development (TRALARD) is a World Bank funded Project that was conceptualized through Zambia Pilot Program for Climate Resilience (PPCR) and falls under the Ministry of Green Economy and Environment. The Project has secured some funds from its 2024 / 2025 budget and intends to use part of the funds towards eligible payments under the contract to construct six (6) low cost staff houses, one (1) high cost staff house, two (2) entry park gates, one information centre and other supporting infrastructure, and the rehabilitation of seven (7) existing low cost staff houses at Fibishi camps under Lavushimanda National Park in Lavushimanda district of Muchinga provinces. Provincial Administration, Muchinga Province therefore invites bids on behalf of Muchinga TRALARD Project from companies with National Council for Construction (NCC) Grade 5 or better and in Category B to participate in this tender. Interested bidders may submit and address their bids labelled “Tender to construct six (6) low cost staff houses, one (1) high cost staff house, two (2) entry park gates, one information centre including other supporting infrastructure, and the rehabilitation of seven (7) existing low cost staff houses at Fibishi camps under Lavushimanda National Park in Lavushimanda district of Muchinga provinces” through the electronic government procurement (egp) system under Muchinga province. This Bidding process will be conducted using Open National Bidding procedures and a post evaluation process will be conducted on the recommended bidder to physically assess the executed works submitted in the tender document, availability of proposed construction machinery, tools and equipment and key personnel, including the availability of financial resources to successfully execute the works within an acceptable timeframe. All Bids should be submitted to through the EGP system not later than Friday, 10th January, 2025 at 16:00 hours, local time. LATE BIDS WILL AUTOMATICALLY BE REJECTED BY THE SYSTEM.
