Invitation of Request for Bids (RFB) Procurement Ref.No.:ET-OROMIADIGAWOR-FSRP-517245-CW-RFB • Diga Woreda Finance Office/ Agriculture and Land Office intends to utilize portion of allocated budget for Food System Resilience Program financed by the World Bank (IDA) toward the cost of Gudisa Modern Fruit Nursery project located in Gudisa Kebele,Diga Woreda ,East Wollega Zone,Oromia Region. • Diga Woreda Finance /Agriculture and Land Office now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for construction of Gudisa Modern Fruit Nursery project described in table below. | S.N | Name of Project | Geographical location | Expected Major construction Activities | Bid security Amount (ETB) | X | Y | Z | 1 | Gudisa Modern Fruit Nursery | 215528 | 999304 | 2068.1 | Fence,offices,pond,netshade, distribution lines etc | 300,000( Valid for 90 days) • Diga Woreda finance/agriculture and land office now invites sealed bids from eligible contractors licensed in waterworks , to submit sealed bids for providing the necessary labor, material and equipment for the construction and completion of the above Site project in 120 days • Bidders should fulfill the following requirements & other appropriate documentary evidences demonstrating the bidder’s compliance( the following are some of them but not the only required evidences): • Domestic bidders shall have a certificate of competency from Ministry of Urban Development and Construction or Regional Construction Authorities in water works renewed for the bidding period(2018E.C) • Commercial Registration Certificate, • Renewed Trade license for the bidding period(2018 E.C), • Tax clearance certificate • TIN and VAT registration certificate • Copy of Tax Payer registration Certificate • Copy of Value Added Tax Registration Certificate • One Original & one copy of both Technical and Financial documents • Site visit letter from Gudisa Kebele Office • Bidding will be conducted through a Request for Bid (RFB) procedures as specified in the World Bank’s Procurement Regulations. • Interested, eligible Bidders may obtain further information from the Diga Woreda Finance Office, Goround floor Room No 1, during Office hours. • A complete set of scanned soft copy of Request for Bid documents in the English Language may be purchased by interested Bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Ethiopian Birr 1000 ( one thousand birr ) during work hours starting from date this request for bid is announced on Herald news . • The bidding procedure to be followed is a single-stage, two-envelope procedure. Bidders are required to submit one Original and one copy of both Technical and Financial Proposals.The Technical Proposal shall include the wax-sealed one Original& one copy of technical proposal and the Bid Security (CPO), each placed in a separate envelope. These ( original technical,copy technical & CPO) envelopes shall then be enclosed together in one larger envelope clearly marked “Technical Proposal.” The Financial Proposal shall include the wax-sealed one Original financial proposal, one copy of financial proposal & cost break down each placed in a separate envelope. These shall then be enclosed in one larger envelope clearly marked “Financial Proposal.” • Finally, the entire set of documents-both the Technical Proposal and the Financial Proposal-shall be enclosed in a single wax-sealed outer envelope, which shall clearly bear all necessary information regarding the Bidder, the employer, and the relevant Project details. • Bids must be delivered(submitted) to the address below on or before March 19,2026,10:00 A.M.or 4:00 Local Time to Diga Woreda Finace Office,Ground Floor Room no1.Electronic Bid submission will not be permitted.
